SCREW GAUGE
A Screw Gauge is a precision instrument used for measuring the diameter of small objects with high accuracy. It consists of a calibrated screw mechanism housed within a cylindrical frame. The object to be measured is placed between the spindle and anvil of the gauge, and the screw is then turned until it lightly touches the object. The measurement is read from the scale, which indicates the distance the screw has been turned. This measurement corresponds to the diameter of the object being measured. Screw gauges are commonly used in engineering, manufacturing, and quality control applications where precise measurements are required.
